Laguna Colorada

This lagoon gets its color from the algae that grow in it. Three species of flamingo live there: Flamenco Andino, Flamenco Chileno, and Flamenco James. Volcanoes in the distance.

The wind was strong—about 60mph—when we were there. Apparently, that's 'tame.'

The lagoon is much bigger than it looks from this photo. It's in a horseshoe shape, and we're standing on the peninsula in the middle.
